What is Sulbutiamine?
Sulbutiamine is an enhanced version of vitamin B1 and displays effects in those who use it such as increased focus and energy levels. Sulbutiamine is a popular nootropic and is comparable to many other stimulants in the same class such as caffeine and phenylalanine. Sulbutiamine is a biosynthetic version of thiamine which consists of two thiamine (vitamin B1) bound together by a sulfur group. It’s useful for alleviating fatigue, specifically when it comes to infection.
Users report the optimal effective sulbutiamine dosage of 400 mg once a day. Sulbutiamine is fat soluble so taking this with a lipid source is ideal for delivery.
According to one study, Sulbutiamine may protect neuronal cells in the hippocampus from oxygen and glucose deprivation. The study depleted rats of nutrients that would normally damage synaptic transmission. Except synaptic transmission was preserved in those rats with Sulbutiamine in their system.
